How we work

We see the relationship between parent/guardian, tutor and student as a collaboration. We encourage openness and frequent communication to ensure your child's success.

Our tutors are also qualified teachers, so you will see the terms 'tutor' and 'teacher' used interchangably throughout this website.

This can be done either through email or on the phone. We prefer to talk to you directly and ask a few preliminary questions about your needs.

FREE CONSULTATION
At CTG we firmly believe in the personal touch. You can choose a time to have a FREE, no-obligation telephone consultation with us. The objective of this meeting is to establish in full the requirements of the tutee; subject, areas of difficulty, grade objectives, frequency and duration of tutoring sessions.

LEARNING
Following the consultation, CTG will help you select a tutor that best matches your requirements and the tutor-tutee relationship will begin. Where possible regular tutoring sessions will be scheduled, but the tutor will endeavour to remain flexible in order to meet your and your child's needs.
ONLINE TUTORING
Wherever you may be, we can provide you with effective remote learning. The tutors have interactive, screen-share and video-conferencing capabilities with our online platform, TutorCruncher. This means that their expertise is never further than a click away ensuring that you can easily receive the benefits of one-to-one or group tuition.
IN-PERSON TUITION
CTG is pleased to provide traditional one-to-one tuition in the comfort of your home. We'll select a tutor that lives nearby and address covid-safety precautions to keep you and your loved-ones safe.
HOME EDUCATION
We also cater for students that are home educated. CTG recognises the value of home education and are pleased to assist you. Tutors can follow a specific syllabus of your choice as well as design and organise a personalised programme of study for you.
SCHOOL SUPPORT
CTG also provides Schools with extra tuition for groups of up to 6 students. Our tutors are also qualified teachers, and are able to help schools offer extra attention to any students who would like extra help and a confidence boost in a particular subject.
