OUR THREE STEP APPROACH
We see the relationship between parent/guardian, tutee and tutor as a collaboration. As such we want to encourage openness and frequent communication to ensure your child’s success.
This can be done either through email or on the phone. We prefer to talk to you directly and ask a few preliminary questions about your needs.
At CTG we firmly believe in the personal touch. A time will be arranged when one of our team will come and meet you and your child at home or will have a more in-depth telephone consultation. The objective of this meeting is to establish in full the requirements of the tutee; subject, areas of difficulty, grade objectives, frequency and duration of tutoring sessions. There is no fee for this consultation.
Following the consultation, CTG will select a tutor that best matches your requirements and the tutor-tutee relationship will begin. Where possible regular tutoring sessions will be scheduled, but the tutor will endeavour to remain flexible in order to meet your and your child’s needs.
Tutors introduced by CTG are qualified teachers, having graduated from the top teacher training institutions in the UK, including Kingston University, Roehampton University, King’s College, London and The Institute of Education. They are highly skilled pedagogical practitioners that can deliver effective teaching to help support your child’s academic journey.
CTG also introduces professional tutors recruited from prestigious establishments and who boast academic excellence. As ever all tutors demonstrate a natural aptitude for teaching.
Tutors offer tuition of the following subjects
If your location is not listed below, please still contact us. The pool of London tutors is growing and we are able to travel to get to you.
- Notting Hill
- St Johns’ Wood
Wherever you may be, we can provide you with effective remote learning. The tutors have Skype connectivity, which means that their expertise is never further than a click away ensuring that you can easily receive the benefits of one-to one tuition. They can be in contact with you if you live too far away for a tutor to get to you in person, live overseas or travel abroad temporarily.
We also welcome international students wanting a preparatory course before their arrival in the UK or if they are studying a British syllabus overseas.
We also cater for students that are home educated. CTG recognises the value of home education and are pleased to assist you. Tutors can follow a specific syllabus of your choice as well as design and organise a personalised programme of study for you.
